"Tuny" Montgomery '29
 

The E.P. "Tuny" Montgomery '29 Scholarship was established in 1986 by his son, Paul M. Montgomery, to provide grant-in-aid assistance to an upperclassman athlete with all around leadership ability, and who is, preferably, from Virginia.

Montgomery matriculated at VMI from Kenbridge, Virginia, and graduated with a BS degree in civil engineering.

He served in the US Army from 1941-45, and was a labor forecaster and consultant for the Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Company. He died in April 1986.
