PENNSYLVANIA MILITARY COLLEGE
SCHOLARSHIP

Represented by Roger A. Godin of St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Pennsylvania Military College Scholarship was established in 1988 by Roger A. Godin, PMC '61, and a small group of PMC alumni in appreciation of VMI as one of the last "pure" military colleges in the country.

The Pennsylvania Military College was established in 1821 in Wilmington, Delaware. It later was moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania, and then to Chester, Pennsylvania, where it continued until 1972.

The scholarship provides an annual grant-in-aid of $500 to a member of the VMI football team who is either from Pennsylvania, New York or New Jersey. The cadet chosen must possess leadership qualities in athletics, academics and military activities.
