The  David B. Perrin '25 Scholarship was established in 1994 as a part of the Perrin Family Fund by the late David B. Perrin '25 to provide scholarship assistance to cadet-athletes.

Perrin matriculated at VMI from Zanoni, Virginia, and graduated with a BS degree in electrical engineering.

He had a distinguished career with Duquesne Light Company, retiring as personnel manager after 40 years of service.

He was also a dedicated public servant, devoting many years to service on the School Board, Board of Supervisors and Water Authority Board of his various communities and on the governing board of his church.

Perrin died on July 15, 1998.

Cadet Keashawn Artis '07, VMI Football, is recognized in the name of
the David B. Perrin '25 Scholarship for the 2007-08 school year.
