Represented by Mr. Lloyd R. Stallings '42 of Fort Meyers, Florida.



Lloyd Stallings '42

The Stallings Family Scholarship was established in 1985 by Mr. Lloyd R. Stallings '42.

The scholarship is granted to a basketball athlete who exemplifies spirit, determination and a commitment to excellence.

Lloyd R. Stallings matriculated at VMI from Cumberland, Maryland. During his cadetship, Stallings played “Rat” basketball (one year). A Distinguished Graduate, Stallings received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the Institute in 1942.

Stallings served as a major in the U.S. Army CWS from 1942-46. He retired from Parker-Hannifin Corporation

Stallings was a member of the Keydet Club Board of Governors in the 1970s.



Cadet Adam T. Lonon '10 is recognized in the name of
the Stallings Family Scholarship for the 2007-08 year.
